The Tamalada Festival is an educational, family-friendly event that is free and open to the public. The festival brings together presenters from our South Texas communities and Texas A&M University-Kingsville to celebrate and education the history, contributions and cultural value of corn, tamales, and tamaladas.

Experience and learn about South Texas life, culture, and history through our permanent and temporary exhibits and displays. The Conner Museum and its collection of artifacts serves as a hands-on learning environment and experience for students and faculty of Texas A&M-Kingsville. The museum hosts lectures, research presentations, and temporary exhibits from students, faculty, or community members throughout the year.
